Cortney Herron
PAINTING
b. 1988, Los Angeles, CA
Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA
Cortney Herron's paintings, featured in HELLO!, Colossal, Good Housekeeping, and LA Weekly, reimagines domestic interiors as landscapes where coziness meets the surreal, transforming everyday spaces into expanses rich with memory and emotion. Through warm, earthy tones and an intuitive approach to scale, she dissolves the boundaries between interior and exterior, allowing the familiar to stretch beyond its immediate presence. The quiet folds of a curtain or the way light pools in a corner become vast, immersive terrains—both lived and metaphorical.
