Lives and works in Sydney, Australia - Byron Bay, Australia
Natasha France (b. 1993, Australia) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Sydney. Drawing from her studies in Art History and her connection to the karst landscapes surrounding her practice, France blends traditional techniques with instinct to create works that explore the interplay between nature, memory, and the subconscious. Water, stone, landscape, and light serve as recurring points of inspiration, guiding her toward abstract forms and subtle, emotive colorations.
Working primarily at a large scale, France creates monochrome compositions that carry a sense of motion and wordless dialogue. Her paintings balance intimacy and expansiveness, offering viewers space for reflection and rediscovery while evoking themes that are at once philosophical and transcendent. She has exhibited with Sunday Salon (Melbourne), No Vacancy Gallery (Melbourne), and The Oblist (Paris), and her works are held in private collections across Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
