DESCRIPTION
Archival Pigment Print | 2017
This series was shot when Merriam found himself in unknown terrain near the coast of Oregon. A chance encounter with strangers and eclipse glasses led to these photographs, which were shot through the filmy, crinkled lenses of the glasses, imparting a unique filter through which to view the eclipse.
