Loralee Jade’s paintings exist in the space between memory and sensation, language and the ineffable. Working with pigment on transparent silk, she creates surfaces that hover between presence and dissolution—suggestive of figuration yet fluid in abstraction. Her work is a wordless conversation, rich with emotion, clarity, and open-ended inquiry.
In her latest series, Jade continues her practice of responding to the images and memories she carries—some deeply personal, others fleeting impressions of color, past works, or dreams. Whether she is tracing generational trauma, reflecting on the profound shift of motherhood, or surrendering to the depths of blue, her paintings hold more than words can capture. Sensuous and luminous, her works invite the viewer into a space where feeling takes form, dissolves, and lingers.
