Each piece tells a layered story, where the worn textures and faded typography of vintage book covers serve as both material and muse. These salvaged relics, marked by time and use, are transformed into richly textured surfaces that act as the foundation for Rahimian’s painterly explorations.

Rahimian’s practice celebrates the beauty of reimagined materials, inviting viewers to reflect on the passage of time, the stories objects carry, and the enduring resonance of things left behind. Each painting becomes a portal to the past, yet feels distinctly alive and relevant in the present.
