Watercolor, gouache, and collage on paper | 2019
Quick studies of form, composition, line, and color, all through organic matter found in nature, sits naturally alongside expansive, colorful mixed-media paintings. The line between the land and the people who inhabit it are blurred, much like pigment and water in these loose, vibrant paintings. Travels abroad, from South Africa to Italy, inspire the scenes of buoyant vibrancy.
