Hannah Carrick
Hannah Carrick is a Byron Bay-based artist whose work is celebrated for its deep exploration of biophilia—the intrinsic connection between humans and the natural world—and the transformative, healing nature of the artistic process. Known for her vibrant use of color and texture, Carrick’s art invites viewers to engage with themes of introspection, self-reflection, and emotional healing. Carrick’s distinctive style is characterized by bold color palettes and layered textures created with oil paints and mixed media, often centers on femininity and the female form. Through her pieces, Carrick fosters a contemplative space for dialogue between humanity and the natural world, offering insights into the profound connections between the two. Recent exhibitions include Rainbow Studios (Sydney, AUS), Yeah Nice Gallery (Byron Bay, AUS), Tappan (Los Angeles, CA) and Hake House (Sydney, AUS).
