Small Potato Tree: Pink/White with Ochre Vines
Clay, Slip, Glaze, Various Flux, Multiple Firing
Vince Palacio’s Potato Tree sculptures draw from the quiet complexities of nature. Each hand-built piece evokes a sense of grounding, its forms raw yet deliberate, balancing on the edge of organic abstraction. These sculptures invite the viewer to pause, to trace their uneven textures, to feel a connection rooted in the earth’s own language. Palacio’s work offers a moment of stillness and simplicity—a reminder that art, like nature, doesn’t rush to be understood.
