Built upon a commitment to extending art into daily life and likewise incorporating every day life into artistic practice, Johanna had a desire to bring her love of gardening into her work. Transdisciplinary artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck's practice includes painting, drawing, collage, photographic prints, sculpture, and publishing. Tagada Hoffbeck shows extensively in Far-East Asia and Europe. Tagada Hoffbecks recent exhibitions include Somerset House (London), Totodo (Tokyo), Kate MacGarry (London). Selected public and private collections include Design Museum (Gent, BE), Booklet Art Library (Tokyo, JP), Clinique Rhena (Strasbourg, FR), and Los Angeles Contemporary Archives (Los Angeles, US)
