Drawn during Martinet + Texereau’s time in Los Angeles through the Tappan Exchange program, these works were inspired by the duo’s exploration of California’s suburbs and architecture. Through the eyes of newcomers hunting for unexpected beauty, domestic scenes are transformed from banal to extraordinary.
